Medical Care in times of Covid-19 has lost all sense of moral code and ethics.

GOING TO THE DOCTOR’S SUCKS!

There is no other way to say this. I have to go with the obvious word choice. You can’t sugar coat it, you can’t do anything but call it for what it is. And to think we PAY these people all kinds of money to be treated like shit. NO NO NO. I don’t care if there is a pandemic, do your humanity leave when the pandemic came in?

Going to the doctor’s started getting bad before the pandemic. People spend oodles of money just to be seen for 15 minutes. 15 minutes with your PCP your Personal Care Provider. Insurance has taken a lot of juice out of the profession. Now, it’s get your quota’s, it’s sell stuff from big pharma, it’s how not to give a fuck about weather you are healthy or not and just make a buck. At least for insurance companies.

Oh, and heaven for bid if you can’t make it to your doctor’s appointment they charge you, but if your doctor is late it’s OK. Your time doesn’t matter. First of all, let me just say that I am an adult, and not student or child, and that if I can’t go due to a work conflict I do not appreciate being told like a child that I have to pay for the appointment, that should not happen, like the old saying goes “Shit happens”. It’s not always what you want, but it is what it is. I can’t control life if I could I wouldn’t be here, I would be on my own private island somewhere make your life a miserable living hell.

Now that the pandemic is here. You can’t go into any doctor’s office without the third degree. I had a what I thought was a urinary tract infection, it turned out I passed a kidney stone. I wasn’t feeling pretty well after that. When I went to urgent care, I had to call in and then when I actually had to go I got to go in but only because I had a problem that I could only take care of in the bathroom.

My father passed away this year. They say he died of Covid-19. He got Covid-19 from the testing that they did in the hospital. Now here is the real kicker, they tested him with everyone else. Do you not realize how dumb that is? My dad was a cancer patient. He should have had his own testing station for cancer patients because his immune system was compromised. That should have been an no brainer. Was it for the hospital? NO, he went and got tested with people who, I’m sure were sick.

They also told my father there was nothing left for them to do with my mother at home and him in the hospital. My Dad and Mom were both alone when they got the news. They had been married for almost 62 years. They should have been together.

Doctor’s and nurses have lost their minds and their humanity during these times of Covid-19. I hope they get it back but I don’t think so. Until people realize that you shouldn’t make it impossible for people to afford life saving medications in one of the wealthiest countries in the world than we have what we have now. A broken system. Capitalism is killing us faster, with climate change, with higher and higher prices for medications and care. We have some of the best hospitals in the world, we just can’t use them.
